Yoga for Beginners New Course Starting June 2017
Following on from the last blog post, I am delighted to share that the first Yoga course will be offered in Exeter starting this June. Tailored specifically to accommodate those who may be new to Yoga or with little experience, and would like to explore in a small group setting. Read on for further details...
The six week introductory course will guide you through different aspects of Yoga including postures (Asana), breathing techniques (Pranayama), and philosophy, with the overall aim being to aid focus, calm, and inner harmony. You may also notice the beneficial side-effect of improved flexibility! You will be provided with a simple set of routines which you can continue to practice at home. This course is for anyone who is completely new to Yoga, those with a little previous experience who would like to learn more, or who may have had a break from Yoga and would like to start practice again. The group size is kept small at a maximum of 6 - 8 participants, to ensure each student feels comfortable and receives sufficient guidance. The six week course is in central Exeter on Thursday evenings between 6.30 - 7.45pm, from 1st June - 6th July. The cost is £45 per person for the full course. Due to limited spaces pre-booking is essential, and payment will reserve your place. All equipment is provided at the venue (mats, blocks, etc), although you are welcome to bring your own mat if you have one and prefer to use this. Otherwise all you need to bring is yourself, in comfortable clothing - which is anything you feel free to move in (there are changing facilities at the venue).
