COVID-19 Protocols

COVID-19 Protocols

We are delighted to be able to return to offering bodywork treatments again (reflexology, Thai Yoga massage, and Thai Foot massage) since we have been given the go-ahead to resume offering these services from Thursday 3rd December.

Providing a safe environment for you to receive treatments from is my priority.  In order to do this, below are details of the COVID-19 Protocols which will be in place when you come to the therapy room for your treatment.  These protocols have been developed in-line with government Health and Safety requirements, and are shared between you, the client, and me, the therapist, and it is necessary for both of us to follow these procedures for the treatment to go ahead.

Please read through the following, and by booking an appointment you agree to follow these procedures.

There are a few new things in place regarding appointment timings and consultations, for the time being, until we are advised otherwise by new guidelines:

  • Appointments will be limited to 60-minute sessions this is to minimise the amount of time we spend in the therapy room together during your appointment.

  • Your consultation will take place over the phone in the 24-hours prior to your appointment.  Once you have booked your appointment I will be in touch to arrange this, this is to minimise the time spent speaking to one another during your appointment.

  • You will be asked to complete a COVID-19 Health Questionnaire as part of your consultation in the 24-hours prior to your appointment, and either asked to sign this digitally, or on arrival at your appointment.

  • If you feel unwell at all please cancel your appointment, and if any of the following apply to you: you have been diagnosed with COVID-19 in the past 21 days and have not received an all clear from your GP to attend the appointment, you are awaiting the results of a COVID-19 test, you have been in contact with anyone in the past 14 days who either has symptoms of COVID-19, has a diagnosis of COVID-19, or is awaiting results from a COVID-19 test.

THINGS FOR YOU TO DO

Things you need to bring to the appointment:

  • Your own drinking water (I am unable to offer you drinking water at the appointment)

  • A pen (for signing the declaration form)

  • Clean and comfortable clothes to wear for the appointment (if you are having a Thai Yoga Massage)

On Arrival & During your Appointment:

  • Please arrive on time for the appointment (not early and not late - so that I can make sure everything is ready and you do not run the chance of meeting another person coming in or out of the building).

  • Please arrive wearing your own face mask.

  • Please adhere to social distancing guidelines, except during the treatment itself when this will not be possible.

  • Please remove shoes on arrival and leave them in the entrance (I will show you where).

  • Please scan QR Code on display in the entrance using your mobile phone (if you have the NHS Tracing App).  If you do not have the NHS app I will make a note of your contact details (name, telephone number, date and time of your visit), which will be stored for 21 days after your visit, in-line with GDPR guidelines, so that you can be contacted if necessary.

  • Please sanitize your hands on arrival (hand sanitizer with a minimum of 60% alcohol content will be provided).

  • Place all your belongings into the plastic box provided (coat, bag etc) inside the treatment room.

  • Relax and enjoy your treatment!

THINGS I WILL DO

  • I will be wearing a PPE visor and face mask throughout the appointment.

  • I will use clean towels and sheets for each client which are washed at 60 degrees and stored hygienically.

  • I will leave a minimum of a 30-minute gap between each client during which time the room will be cleaned and aired with the window open.
