Workplace Yoga

Workplace Yoga is an excellent way of bringing Yoga classes into the workplace, where employees may not otherwise be able to access classes.

The shared experience of Yoga in your workplace or community provides an opportunity to build connection between those attending, as well as increasing activity levels and potentially improving fitness.

What will the class be like?

This traditional Hatha Yoga class provides the opportunity to explore Yoga deeply, discovering and learning playfully how to comfortably release physical, mental, and emotional tensions, aiming to unite you with the present moment bringing a sense of peace and clarity.

Combining physical postures (Asana), breathing techniques (Pranayama), chanting (Mantras), energy locks (Mudras), and relaxation (Yoga Nidra), all to maximise a healthy reserve of vital energy (Prana).  The aim is to promote efficiency of the body's systems through gentle cleansing, and through breath awareness to cultivate a more peaceful mind.

Who is the class for?

Everybody!  Perfect for those wishing to wind-down on a Monday evening preparing them for a blissful week ahead!

All welcome, including beginners.

 

Small class sizes ensuring you feel safe and supported throughout each session, you can just turn up - but booking is recommended.  The studio is fully equipped with mats, blocks, bolsters, and blankets - just bring yourself with comfortable clothing, and a drink of water.

What will the class be like?

This lunchtime Hatha Yoga class is tailored specifically to relax, release tension, and re-energise body and mind, leaving you feeling refreshed ready for the afternoon's activities (or in-activities!).

Combining physical postures (Asana), and breathing exercises (Pranayama) to provide the body with improved circulation and oxygen supply, relaxing the nervous system, stretching the muscles, and releasing tensions created from postural habits in day-to-day life.

Who is the class for?

Everybody!  Particularly suitable for those in the middle of a working day who can have a long lunch-break which will provide a moment of calm to ease away any work stresses.

All welcome, including beginners.
